Creation of Nasstar Group launches new identities for GCI and Modality Systems
GCI becomes ‘Nasstar’ and Modality Systems simplified to ‘Modality’ in a group-wide rebrand for one of the UK’s largest independent suppliers of managed services
In a major new identity change, GCI Group has today become Nasstar Group. The trading styles for the Group will change accordingly. GCI becomes ‘Nasstar’ and Modality Systems changes to ‘Modality’. Both brands acquire a new look that is fresh, modern, and highly differentiated.
Nasstar Group, majority-owned by Mayfair Equity Partners, is one of the largest providers of managed services in the UK employing 700 and approaching £120m in revenues with overseas offices and customers in the US, Australia, and Malaysia. Nasstar delivers an integrated suite of services from cloud computing to networking and communication solutions. Modality is a leading global Microsoft partner, creating and managing solutions for enterprise customers using Microsoft Modern Workplace and Azure.
Wayne Churchill, CEO of Nasstar Group explains the reason for the change: “GCI has grown from some 20 acquisitions since 2000. With the latest addition of Nasstar, acquired in January 2020, it is now time to launch a new, clear, and modern identity for the Group. Modality Systems has always tended to be known just as ‘Modality’, so we are making this simple by creating a distinctive identity that aligns it with Nasstar.
Churchill continues: “Today is more than a name and logo change, we are setting out an intention to continue building a managed services business focused on delivering the vision, the mechanics and the services needed to create transformational change for our clients. We are very excited for the future.”
