Nasstar awarded strategic position on CCS Cloud Compute 2 Procurement Framework
We’re pleased to announce that Nasstar has secured its position as a designated supplier on Lots 2 and 3 of the CCS Cloud Compute 2 Framework, distinguishing itself as one of only three suppliers approved on both Cloud Compute 2 and Network Services 3 as both a WAN networking and Cloud Professional Services supplier.
Nasstar secured its position through a compelling bid showcasing its extensive service range. Nasstar’s ability to deliver and support these services, coupled with strong partnerships and a proven track record with Lot 1/hyperscaler suppliers, earned the managed service provider high scores in the competitive tendering process.
“Being awarded the Cloud Compute 2 supplier contracts for Lots 2 and 3 has been a key part of our public sector growth strategy. We're now well-positioned to make a lasting impact and provide cutting-edge solutions for the evolving needs of public organisations. This is a fantastic result made possible by the combined efforts of a company-wide team of experts.”

What is the Cloud Compute 2 Framework?
The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Cloud Compute 2 (RM6292) Procurement Framework is designed for public sector buyers embarking on medium to large cloud projects falling under Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) or Platform as a Service (PaaS).
Structured into four lots, the framework offers a range of services:
Lot 1: Core Services, encompassing PaaS and IaaS, upon which Lot 2 & 3 suppliers can provide service application services and wraps. Lot 1 is for hyperscalers and not applicable to Nasstar.
Lot 2: Value-added Ancillary Services linked to or separate from the Lot One suppliers.
Lot 3: Professional Services that deliver consultancy and enterprise support services from cloud partners and experts to facilitate the planning, adoption, or optimisation of cloud computing.
Lot 4: Cloud Secure+ which is also not applicable to Nasstar.
Streamlining public sector procurement
With this latest achievement, Nasstar has strengthened its position as an approved public sector supplier of cloud and connectivity solutions.
Nasstar also has 47 live service listings on the UK Government’s G-Cloud 13 marketplace. The G-Cloud 13 Framework enables direct award by public sector organisations, allowing them to buy services without needing to run a full tender or competition procurement process.
